That moment when you are faced with a decision, you can either go all in or you can stay comfortable and remain right where you are.
Aah, this crossroad is a powerful place to be – well, if you allow it to be.
It means that change is a-comin.
But change is a choice, it requires you to get a little uncomfortable, take a risk or two, have that leap of faith and trust the process.
I believe trust is the main reason so many people stay comfy. They don’t trust and so fear sets in.
- Fear of failure.
- Fear of success (yes this is actually an issue for some people)
- Fear of being exposed!
The thought of actually trying something and then coming up short can make you cringe. Add to this the thought of people standing in judgement of you – aaaaah, that is a deal breaker.
Being exposed is scary. We don’t want people to see us when we are weak. We have this belief that failing means we are less than… but is this true?
I would argue not. In fact, I would have to say some of my greatest failures have made me the person I am today. They taught me my greatest lessons and forged me forward.
Taking action requires believing in your dream and having an undying passion. When we have these, we will take the risk, but believing we can is often the hardest part.
Whether you are trying to build a thriving business or create a healthier life, the only way to get there is by taking action.
As you stand in this crossroads in your life, you are left with a choice. No matter what the circumstance may be, the bottom line comes down to this – do you believe in yourself enough to say “HELL YEAH!”?
Do you trust that win or lose, success or failure – this choice to move forward will teach you something you need to learn?
Can you see that no matter what the results may be, more will be revealed?
ACTION is the only way to get from where you are today to where you want to be someday.
Today, take action. Small little steps toward your dream. Action will always trump staying stuck in fear. All you have to do is start…slow and steady wins the race. xo
