TIP #1 What is the dream?
What do you want out of your business?
Don’t hold back here… when I say, “What is the dream,” I want you to dream big.
- Do you want to travel the world?
- Maybe you want to change the world.
It doesn’t matter what the dream is, it only matters that you allow yourself to have one.
TIP #2 Have a vision for your business.
When you look at your business in the next five to 10 years, what does that look like for you?
When you look at your business in the next year, what does that look like for you?
For some of you, you might think it seems overwhelming, there’s so much that needs to get done. The best way to have a vision for your business that helps you achieve your dreams with lots of motivation is to keep it simple.
Keep it simple by breaking your year up into 90 day increments, stay in one quarter at a time. This will set you up for big wins, reduce overwhelm, and most certainly keep you motivated.
Remember, you must have a means to the dreams.
If you don’t have a clear vision for what you want and how you will achieve it, it will always feel impossible.
So I really want to know this, comment below, what is one big dream that you have right now?
TIP #3 Know your why
This will supercharge your vision and keep you motivated day in and day out, ensuring you achieve your most wildest dreams.
I like to look at my why in three parts.
Part one of my why is service.
I built my business so that I could be of service to other women, so that they can do more of the work that they love, and make an impact to other people in their lives as well.
It’s this trickle down effect that makes me feel that I am making an impact on the world in some small, profound way.
Part two of my why is my lifestyle.
I built my business so that I can have an impact on our family. I wanted to create more financial freedom. I knew my business could give us a life full of experiences and memories.
What will your business give to you and the ones you love?
Part three of my why is the emotional.
Raising three sons, now three young men, I never wanted to give up and send a message to them that their dreams weren’t possible.
I wanted them to know that no matter what they did in this world, no matter what dream they had, as crazy as it might seem to somebody else, it was possible, they just had to believe in themselves.
Your why is your wind beneath your entrepreneurial dreams.
It will keep you tenacious and resilient even when the going gets tough.
So be sure to create a why that works for you, and make sure it’s profound and moves you in an emotional way.
I put together an exercise, just for you, to help Supercharge Your Motivation by uncovering your why, get clear on your dreams, and discover your life’s vision… trust me, this will be a game changer in your entrepreneurial journey!
We all know as thriving entrepreneurs, motivation can ebb and flow at any given day.
The reason why truly successful entrepreneurs are able to stay motivated is because they have a clear vision. They dream big, big dreams, and they have profound why’s that move them in emotionally and profound ways inspiring them from the inside out.
