The No Excuse Roadmap To Success as a Female Coach Online

I speak from experience when I say that being an online coach can be overwhelming and sometimes downright frustrating.

Burnout is a common theme amongst many online entrepreneurs.

But, after studying and implementing different strategies I have uncovered the Anti-Burnout Formula to building a successful online business.

There are 5 critical areas every successful entrepreneur addresses to ensure she smashes her goals and balances the hustle and flow.

This is the exact no excuse roadmap I’ve used, and still use to this day, to go from a $12,000 a year coaching business to a multiple six-figure coaching business in less than one year.

Before we jump in, let me say this… I know you want the accelerated version of how to achieve your goals, I get it!

I also know that quite often we think up levelling means we need a new strategy, but after becoming a recovering ‘strategy switcher’ (can you relate?) I’ve realized that if I don’t perfect these 5 critical areas, there is no strategy that will actually work.

 

NUMBER ONE: YOUR MINDSET!

High-performing achievers are always working on their mindset…

  • What they believe
  • The language they use
  • The books they read
  • The people they surround themselves with

All of this matters. Add to this their relentless willingness to do the work in order to excel. They know that old ways won’t open new doors so they are constantly learning how to evolve by working on their personal development.

We must always remember what we believe we will achieve!

 

NUMBER TWO: Your Habits

Your mindset will feed your habits and vice versa.

The successful entrepreneurial woman works with both in tandem, it’s not one or the other.

She knows she must create habits that set her up for success, which then will feed a positive mindset.  A positive mindset will free the energy and space in the brain to create rock-solid successful habits.

As Stephen Covey says “We become what we repeatedly do.”

So think about it… are the habits you have in place propelling you forward or are they holding you back?

NUMBER THREE:  Your Goals

We’ve all heard of SMART goals:

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Attainable
  • Realistic
  • Relevant
  • Timely

This method has been around for years and it’s quite effective.

But let’s not forget that our goals must be in alignment as well so not just relevant to your business model but also to your why.

An example of this would be:

“I would like to secure five new clients at $10k each by August first so that I can rent a winter cabin for a family ski trip this season; it feels in alignment with my desires to be of service to the women that I work with; timewise, it works for my lifestyle; and emotionally I will feel truly satisfied knowing that I’m gonna be able to spend such quality time with my family.”

Be sure that your goals are relevant to the profound WHY that I wrote about on my last blog How To Stay Motivated as an Entrepreneur, otherwise your goals may not be as smart as you may think.

 

NUMBER FOUR:  Your Daily Activities

Do you know where you’re spending the majority of your time?

Even better, are you building a six-figure business or are you spending way too much time on $10 per hour tasks?

It is critical that we get clear on our money-making activities, our self-care activities, and our business nurturing activities.

This awareness is vital in order to avoid the “it’s not working” black hole of excuses.

When you know where you’re spending your time 1) you’ll be able to track data and 2) you’ll be able to course-correct as needed.

 

NUMBER FIVE: Prioritize Your Time

Don’t let your calendar rule you – YOU rule your calendar.

Right after you’re done with this blog I want you to go into your scheduler and schedule:

  1. administrative time
  2. block off a CEO hour either every day or once or twice a week
  3. block off some time for research
  4. block off fun time – we can’t forget that
  5. block off coaching hours
  6. block off discovery call time

When you prioritize your time you will avoid burnout and have more creative genius… and you’ll be a better coach, a better mommy, a better wife, friend, and so on.

Let’s be honest, we entrepreneurs do not like someone else owning our time unless we set it up that way. So be the boss and prioritize your calendar in a way that works for you because then you will drop the excuses and build a thriving business with ease.

 

I think we can all agree that yes sometimes being a business owner comes with its own set of challenges.

We can slip into excuse mode or even worse… victim mode. But, I think us savvy entrepreneurs can also agree that slipping into these negative modes – negative mindsets get us nowhere.

Repeatedly checking in with yourself on these five critical areas will help create a roadmap to your success and dare I say make it fun along the way.
