Selling online is an amazing opportunity.
We can literally sell to the world. How cool is that?
Some of you may be thinking, “Sell? I can’t even find a damn person to engage with my stuff!”
Deep breath – in through the nose and out through the mouth.
I hear you and I get it.
When I first started my online business I spent 2 years with my palm pressed against my forehead.
Frustration was my middle name.
I always felt stuck. I knew what I wanted to do, why I was doing it, and who I wanted to serve, but it seemed as if no matter what I did I hit a wall.
Until I got smart and hired a coach, sat on every webinar known to the online man/woman, purchased programs on funnels, webinars, copy and more.
I learned that I needed a system in order to sell with ease. I also needed to get back to my authentic self and sell in the best way that felt really good to me.
Here are a few things I suggest if you’re feeling stuck in your online biz:
#1 Check yourself before you wreck yourself… are you being true to you or are you doing what you *think* you “should” be doing?
This is a game changer. Being true to yourself allows you to shine in your element. People are drawn to you because you’re confident, knowledgeable, and your conviction is contagious.
This is how it should be. People can tell when you have found your groove and quite honestly it’s attractive – it’s magnetic.
So, if you’re feeling like you’ve lost your way, it could very well be that you’re not being true to your special something-something and trying to run your business like everyone else.
Is this ringing true for you?
#2 You’re not utilizing the online space to let people know you exist. Things like Facebook ads to promote your freebie or a LIKE ad to invite people to your business page.
You may have found this very blog due to a boosted post I purchased to get more eyes on my masterpiece 😉
If people don’t know you’re out there, how are they suppose to find you?
We have to constantly be inviting people into our business home. Lead them to your blog, funnel them into your email, and if your budget allows, purchase ads and boosted posts to say, “Hey, look at me, I’m over here and I have awesome stuff to share!”
Invite, invite, and invite!
#3 Show more of yourself – consistently! If you’re not using video through live streaming, Periscope, or Blab… EEK! You need to get on that.
Video is such an incredible way to connect, engage, and build that know, like, and trust with your followers.
I know I say this all the time, but seriously, I cannot say it enough. Your main goal as you build your business is to connect with your people. They need to see you over and over. The more they see the more they will fall in love, (those that don’t can walk on by…bye bye to them!) this is when selling isn’t even selling.
Now you have this solid relationship and they actually want more of you and more from you.
Booking calls is a no brainer and offering your services – well, good luck getting to that as they quite often ask you first, “How can I work with you!?”
If you want to sell a crazy amount of programs, if you want to fill your 1:1 coaching program to wait list only, you have to stay consistent with your content and you have to consistently be inviting your followers to where you are.
